Abstract
In the last couple of decades, three topics have gained prominence in the province of jurisprudential inquiries: (1) legal interpretation; (2) legal realism; (3) the role of judges in contemporary constitutional democracies. The present collection of essays purports to offer original contributions dealing conjointly with these three relevant and troublesome topics.
