Institucionalni okvir zaštite životne sredine u Evropskoj uniji

Abstract

Na probleme klimatskih promena i zagađenja vazduha, zemlje i vode nijedno društvo nije imuno, te je od izuzetnog značaja regulativa kojom se na te probleme može uticati. Predmet ovog rada je geneza i trenutno stanje regulative zaštite životne sredine u Evropskoj uniji (EU), sa posebnim osvrtom na institucije i tela EU koja su nadležna za to pitanje. U radu je analiziran postojeći sistem zaštite životne sredine u EU primenom deskriptivne analize, analize sadržaja i komparativno-istorijskog metoda, čime su opisane karakteristike i manjkavosti pomenutog sistema. Na osnovu ovih rezultata izvedeni su relevantni zaključci i predstavljene dalje mogućnosti za unapređenje regulative zaštite životne sredine u EU.

Climate change and air, soil and water pollution are the problems to which no society is immune, and therefore the regulation which affects these problems is of great significance. The problem researched in this paper is the genesis and current state of environmental regulation in European union, including the institutions and bodies of European union which are related to the environmental protection. The existing system of environmental protection in European union was analysed using the methods of descriptive analysis, content analysis and comparative historical method, in order to describe the characteristics and flaws of the aforementioned system. The relevant conclusions were drawn based on these results, and possibilities of further improvement of environmental regulation of the European union were presented.
